I would say 14+. There are some scenes of violence, and some scenes that are a bit gory (the main character does dissect bodies) and the main characters are pretty morally grey.
(**note, an earlier version of this said PG13 and then someone explained how movie ratings worked to me and I was like ohhhhhhh, maybe not PG13 then)

from what other people say definitely 13+
Sophia Palermo
The book isn´t too graphic. I just read the book at the age of 17, and I could have read it when I was a freshman in high school. Nothing scary, just a little bloody (ex, someone loses a limb, but it doesn´t describe the knife cutting through each tendon and blood going everywhere. The author does a great job of describing with minimal detail, while still leaving a picture.)
Jason Lin
I'd say right round 16+ because of the scenes of violence and gore.

I know the author said 14+, but I might rate it higher.. This book has some amazing fucked up gore in it..
People say "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy is gruesome.. Yeah The Road ain't got shit on this.
