In Threshold (I forget the name of the monster/aliens I'm on book 8 now) Whyborne questioned why the aliens could have been there for so long mining for coal when it's a finite source but the question was never answered. Were they there just for coal or did they just start mining it recently? or did they find some way of making it to be a more unlimited source?

Jordan L. Hawk I suspect the yayhos were there for other reasons, but Whyborne has never learned what that might have been.

Any news on Whyborne & Griffin number 10? I'm addicted to their story.
