My daughter and I are about to finish 13 Secrets and this is easily the best series we've read together. So fun and suspenseful, great character development, and just enough "creepy". The whole family knows about this book because she is always excitedly babbling about it to her dad and sisters. Can you recommend something for us to read next? Your own and/or other authors you like. DD is turning 9 this weekend.

Thanks so much, that's really kind of you to say! I'm glad you enjoyed it (and assume you know One Wish is a prequel)?
I'd recommend The Crowfield Curse by Pat Walsh, which is a creepy mystery with a wonderful little hob fey, as well as darker Unseelie characters. Your daughter may also like the Knife series by R.J. Anderson (they have another title in the U.S.: Spellhunter). Also, Winter Magic (which has a story of mine in it) is a lovely collection of short magical wintery tales by a wonderful array of authors.
When your daughter is a little older, PLEASE check out a couple of my favourite fairy reads - The Merrybegot by Julie Hearn and Poison by Chris Wooding. Finally, you may also like Faeries by Brian Froud and Alan Lee which is a collection of folklore snippets and the most beautiful illustrations, but have a flick through first as some of the content may be a little scary/adult.

I see that you have a book called "When she came back" published in 2020. What's it about? And I can't really find a copy anywhere. It's also not mentioned on your website but on here; has it not been published yet and was the date an error? Also, are you writing a 5th Widdershins' adventure? (Sorry for too many questions at once and I really love your books!)

I know you’ve probably been asked this question a million times but I was wondering if you have any plans from another pinch of magic book?? I love, love, love this series sooo much and I would love to see more of Spit, Granny, Fingerty and of course Betty, Charlie and Fliss and maybe even Sonny. I love all your characters so much, there so thought out and realistic. And I just love your style of writing in general!
