Goodreads asked Sam Moussavi:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Sam Moussavi It sounds simple but an aspiring writer should write and write often. I've had occasion to cross paths with other people who tout themselves as writers but have no pages to show for it. Be sure you're not a person who claims to be something you're not. Namely, if you say you are a writer, make sure you can slap some pages on the table! It doesn't matter if those pages are good or quality right away. Having them to begin with is a good enough start.
