Just finished Mindtouch and I wish someone had warned me that I would be thoroughly squashed by the feels train. Brilliant stuff, will be reading everything of yours I can get my hands on. Now to my question: I don't like cinnamon - is it a travesty to make nutmeg kerinne?
M.C.A. Hogarth
I think nutmeg kerinne sounds amazing, and I would love to hear how it turns out!
The thing to remember about kerinne is that it's like 'hot chocolate' or 'coffee'. Just like we have six billion coffee drinks, and hot chocolates ranging from things made with powdered cocoa and milk solids to melted hot chocolate stirred with cinnamon and chili peppers, kerinne is a base that everyone adjusts or experiments with. Chocolate kerinne, vanilla kerinne, kerinnes with different spices... all of it is a valid take on the base, which is basically butter and cream and sugar. I like to think of it as drinking a cookie dough because the initial step (of creaming butter with sugar) is the same as with a lot of cookie doughs. :)
So absolutely, make Elizabeth-style nutmeg kerinne, if you are fond of nutmeg! And thank you for the question! <3

Not a question, just me being grateful for your world and the heart in those words - I just finished Mindtouch and immediately bought the next volume. It's rare that I'm truly surprised by falling in love with a book and the characters and the universe they live in. I can't wait to see what comes next. Thank you so much. (Bonus question mark so Goodreads will let me post this?)

I'm currently listening to your Her Instruments series as audiobooks and I really enjoy them. I would like to listen to The Dreamhealers next, but I could not find them on Audible. Are they available somewhere else, and if not, do you plan to publish them as audiobooks?
