When exactly did you start the Pendragon series? I know the first book came out in 2002, but when did you actually sit down and start writing it? Also, how long did it take you to finish a usual first draft of the Pendragon books? Thanks!

I wrote the first three books in 2001. That's why in the beginning they came out so quickly...one every three months or so. I'd say it takes me a couple of months to write a first draft. But there are many steps before and after that that increase the time considerably before a book is actually published.
