how do you get ideas?

Helen Harper It's one of those strange things where the more I write, the more ideas pop into my head. Sometimes I'll read a news article which will spark off thoughts, sometimes characters will insinuate themselves into my imagination and then stories take off from there. I have a long document filled with potential plots and ideas. The book I'm working on at the moment is the result of a dream!
