Books and Brews asked this question about All These Worlds (Bobiverse, #3):
I absolutely LOVED the series. I'm now looking for other books to read like it (preferably audiobooks as I walk 10-15km every day to keep fit for my job). I've asked all over Facebook sci-fi groups and heard crickets... there must something fun, clever and infinitely human like this out there?

The Troy Rising series by John Ringo. There are three books in the series: "Live Free or Die," "Citadel," and "The Hot Gate".

I especially loved the following line in book 1...

"Oh, no, no, no, no, nooo! Blondes in heat? Why couldn't it have been mutant cyborgs?"

It is not a sex comedy. It is more like a libertarian/merchant/trader comedy, but the line is pretty funny.

You might also like the Miles Vorkosigan series. I suggest starting with...

"The Warrior's Apprentice," by Lois McMaster Bujold. A young man is denied a military career because of his physical limitations, but he soon finds himself the owner of a freighter, and a pile of debt. He must find cargo to haul to pay off that debt, but the "farming equipment" he is hauling into a war zone is more than it appears. The humor comes from his slight stature. People believe he is too small to be a threat. Big mistake. :-)

"Captain Vorpatril's Alliance" by Lois McMaster Bujold. Ivan Vorpatril is roped into spying on a pretty young woman who has a host of hitmen after her amongst the environmental domes of Komarr. His mission is to delay her, thus helping her avoid one of those hitmen. But things get complicated and the only way out is certain death or make an "alliance" with Ivan Vorpatril who has diplomatic immunity. Comedy ensues.(less)
