I'm just now listening to "The Secrets She Keeps" and I find Agatha's backstory as a former JW fascinating (as I was a JW most of my life and only left 13 years ago). Do you have insider knowledge of the religion? Judging by your descriptions it sounded like you were either a one-time Witness or knew someone who was.

Agatha's story is partially based on a real life case in England, which I came across in my research into JW. I don't have any personal experience or insider knowledge.
