since you write fairy tale retellings, Have you ever thought about writing an Arabian nights retelling novel or not?

Not really. I mean, I guess you're thinking of the framing story of Scheherazde? I have been working on something that would have elements of the other stories that she tells, like a genie. But it's not a retelling. There are some very fine versions of that story however. My favorite is A Thousand Nights by E. K. Johnston.

I've been reading the Tuesdays in the Castle books to my 7 year old sister and she loves them. Thanks for writing a book that a 7 and 19 year old can enjoy together, with our 12 and 17 year old brothers occasionally dropping by to listen in. Are there any stories (retellings or otherwise) that you want to write, but haven't? Why haven't you written them? Will you write them?

I am an aspiring writer and I've been trying to schedule writing time but I'm really bad at keeping to my schedule. I keep going a week or so without writing and then before I know it I've completely lost the story. It like loose any and all inspiration. This has been a problem for years now and I wondered if you have any advice on that sort of thing?
