Goodreads asked MaryJanice Davidson:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

MaryJanice Davidson Never ever quit. I was an Air Force brat and lived in trailer parks for years, my dad taught me how to hunt and fish so I could help put food on the table. I didn't go to college. So trust me, if someone like me can get published, anyone can. I submitted stories and novels all through my twenties and had nothing but rejection slips to show for it. I didn't get published until I was 33. If I had given up in my twenties, things would be very different. So keep at it and keep at it.
