Goodreads asked Victoria Laurie:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Victoria Laurie I get asked this question a lot, and the truth is that I've never had writer's block, however, I do accept that it's a very real thing for many talented writers out there. I think writer's block is brought on by fear. It's the fear of writing something that is less than your best, or that might take you in a direction you hadn't wanted to go in. I have zero fear about either of those things, because most of the most clever plot twists I've created have come to me in moments when I'm just writing by the seat of my pants. And if I write a scene or a chapter that sucks, well, the delete button becomes my best friend. I can always write more, and I can always tweak a scene to make it work. If you can let go of the fear, you'll never get creatively blocked.
