Hi, I'm currently reading The Lies of Locke Lamora and enjoying it. Just to checheck because I have a weak to no appetite for this: how explicit are books 2, 3 and 4 of the series with respect to sexual issues? No offence intended-I just want to make an informed descision about whether or not to carry on. Thanks!

I would say Book 3 has some sexy stuff, but without being explicit. Nothing graphic. Through these books, women are strong and the love scenes reflect that.

I've only read the first two. While Red Seas does have some love scenes, there is hardly anything explicit about them. Lynch does a good job of creating passion between characters without going into graphic details *cough* George RR Martin *cough*. From what I can remember, there aren't any rape scenes or anything like that either. I can't speak for the third book, but I think you'll be safe going forward with Red Seas. Red Seas was almost just as good as Lies, so I'd recommend continuing with the series.

I've just finished book 2 and while there is a love interest and specific mention that sex happens there is no real description of the action as it where.
