Laura M Morgan
Don't get bogged down with the details, just sit and let your hands move over the keys. What comes at first might not be great, it might even be terrible, but once you find your flow and your writing voice you'll be happy and ready to carry on. It's better to edit something terrible than never have written anything at all. Write your story just for you, don't get bogged down with market trends or fears of your books being too niche. Don't copy anyone else's style, plot or character traits - you may end up getting sued, but also have more pride in yourself and what you're capable of.
