Most of my creativity happens right before I fall asleep. Over the years I've perfected the art of not forgetting the new plot details I thought up the night before, but I have also been known to jump out of bed to make notes at 3am! The next day I sit down with the story firmly in my mind, and I write down the next piece of the tale.
