Jodi Taylor:
If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Jodi Taylor
This is tricky one. I've been thinking for a couple of days now, and I've narrowed it down to three. The first is the Regency world of Georgette Heyer. It's witty, colourful, there's always a happy ending and, on stressful days, a wonderful place of safety.
The second is the world of Mary Renault - Ancient Greece. The story of Theseus as told in The King Must Die and The Bull From the Sea is magnificently described.
The third has to be the world of JK Rowling - Hogwarts, etc. Imaginative and magical, who wouldn't want to go to school there.
So there you are - those are my worlds. As to what I'd do there - just exist and enjoy being in a world so very different from my own.

Jodi Taylor:
I absolutely love the St Marys series, and often find myself thinking about how things might have happened in the original universe without Max, Leon or the Time Police. Are Tim and Helen married? Who rescued Markham from the river (I think Miss North would've joined them to keep an eye on her mother) and then was that person rescued without the Time Police. Might there ever be a short update on that universe?

Hi Jodi. I'm currently re-reading the whole set of St Mary's books whilst awaiting your new Time Police book, and I wondered whether you will one day continue the Markham story; the letter received, and referred to briefly in 'Hope for the best', is Hunter confirmed as pregnant and if so has she given birth yet..... not to mention their questionable marital status? Many thanks, Jill
