What's been the hardest part (so far) in your writing and publishing journey?

Jacqueline Rhoades If I'm honest, it's reviews. I'm proud to say my writing has evolved, but I never know if what I write, or the new direction I take, is what readers will like until the reviews come in. Most have been good, and they give me me a high like nothing else can, but... I've made some mistakes - big ones - and a reviewer's honesty can be a hard pill to swallow. It's a bitter pill, depressing and discouraging, but it's a live-and-learn business and I have learned to take my medicine and use it to become a better writer and move on.
