Alvina Hurtado
Alvina Hurtado asked Francesca Zappia:

I was wondering how you come up with your ideas, for example, stephanie Meyer said she came up with Twilight by having a dream of Edward . what yours?

Francesca Zappia A lot of different ways, but usually they feel like they come out of thin air. They don't, of course, but they feel like they do because they're pretty much all things that I already like, am interested in, or experience myself. My brain sort of puts them together while I'm not looking. And the stories themselves don't all come at once. I might get the base concept while I'm at work, but then I'll get ideas for other things I can add into it while I'm watching a movie or playing a video game or hanging out with my friends.

I don't think anything from my dreams has been put into a story...

Oh! No, that's a lie. The fisherman from the very first chapter of The Children of Hypnos (https://www.wattpad.com/story/9547883...) was actually one of my worst nightmares as a kid. And I think I *may* have gotten the idea for Morrigan from a dream as well. (Surprise! A story about dreams and nightmares had ideas I took from my own dreams and nightmares.)
