Thank you for this great series! After Tolkien its a series which inspired me great in my point of view and morale about life. Especially the scene between Meical and Corban and choicing between good and evil.
Then my question is it me or were the Gods Elyon and Asroth inspired by the Christian God? (hide spoiler)]

Hi Geert,
It's great to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words - mentioning my writing in the same sentence as Tolkien has just made my day. :)
To answer your question, yes, Elyon and Asroth, and the Ben-Elim and Kadoshim, are all inspired by the Christian mythos. John Milton's Paradise Lost was a massive influence on my story, the whole idea of Satan's revenge on God, and the ensuing angel-demon war.
I hope that helps, and thank you again for the kind words.
Truth and Courage,
John

Hi John, First off, what an amazing set of books! I have not found a series this enthralling in quite a while! After reading a Time of Blood, all I can say is "Wow, you completely took the story to a whole other level". After your upcoming "A Time of Loss", do you have any further plans for the series? Please say "Yes, there's another follow-up series afterwards ;)!"
