Hello Mr. Gwynne. I loved your books. They were excellent and I felt included in all the adventures with Corban and Storm. I was thinking about your books after I got done reading a book about Celtic mythology and I was wondering if you the Old Tongue is actually the Celtic language in real life. Am I correct in thinking this?

To answer your question: yes, the language of the giants in my books is a rough form of Irish Gaelic, so, well spotted 😁 I used Irish Gaelic as a tip of the hat to the Celtic/Irish mythological influences in the series.
