Goodreads asked Jennifer St. Giles:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jennifer St. Giles By being stubborn or doing something relaxing. If I keep writing something, even if I am sure it's not the right direction I want the story to go, I eventually come up with the right answer by eliminating what doesn't work for the story. You can't fix what's wrong if you have a blank page. Also, I find if I go and do something to take the edge off my stress like a hot shower, talk the book over with a close friend, or go see a good movie, the writer's block disappears.
