Goodreads asked Lynn Slaughter:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Lynn Slaughter For me, it's mostly about getting started. Once I start on something, a new scene, chapter, whatever- I'm usually okay. It helps to read what you've written the day before and get back into the flow of what you're working on. I know that some writers advocate stopping mid-scene the day before.
I try to keep in mind the title of one of my favorite self-help books: FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY!
