I would like to know about your writing style. Do you do a copious amount of research? Or do you sit down and wing it once you are on a roll?

Taylor Jenkins Reid I did a lot of research for this book ahead of time. I spent about a month reading books, listening to podcasts, watching movies, and losing myself down google-fueled rabbit holes, etc.

And then I started writing once I understood the people and the story. But I had to stop every few minutes to research a detail to fit the time period.

So it was a little bit of both!
