Thoroughly enjoyed reading about "Evelyn Hugo"! What was the first thing that came to your mind to write this book? First inspiration?

Taylor Jenkins Reid I was very inspired by the lost memoir of Ava Gardner which came out after her death and the death of her ghost writer. It is a great read and I highly recommend it! It is called Ava Gardner: The Secret Conversations.
