I couldn't put your book down - it's the first one I've read of yours and definitely won't be the last. I thought Evelyn had some great wisdom to share and definitely things to think about. Did you outline in advance the character development of her different husbands and the intersections of relationships?

Taylor Jenkins Reid Thank you so much! I don't normally outline very much but with this book, knowing that Evelyn would be married so many times, I did think it was necessary to outline who her husbands would be and what her motivations were with each marriage.

It was a new, fun way to write a book for me. The first draft process was much easier knowing what happened ahead of time.
