Taylor Jenkins Reid I would give my right arm to spend just a moment of time with Lucille Ball. I have been taken with her ever since I was a child, watching reruns of I Love Lucy on weekday mornings during the summer.

I'd really just love to sit in her presence but if I could ask her anything at all, I suppose I'd ask her how she found the will to be so resilient. She was told no countless times and never let it stop her from getting to the very top.

I just ordered Evelyn Hugo to read on the beach in a few weeks. I always tell myself, "Buy Ms. Reid's books and wait to read them." Then I read them and think, "Why did I wait so long?!"
