Lisa Unger Hi, Cass! That's such an interesting question! I do come from a long line of very strong women on both sides of my family. In fact, the female personalities in my life are so strong, that the men in my family sometimes seem eclipsed by them. And some of the most powerful, accomplished people in my life are women. I guess I'm always a little surprised when people comment on the strong female characters in my books, because I think -- what else would they be but powerful, self-defined, brave in the face of adversity?
