Are you from/have you ever lived in Northern Maine? Just wondering as I live there and your descriptions of the land seem pretty accurate.

Craig Alanson Never lived there but have been hiking/fishing/canoeing there. Just came back from a visit to Bar Harbor but that touristy area is very different from Joe Bishop's hometown
