Jodi Wresh
Jodi Wresh asked Glynnis Campbell:

what do you use when you have ideas for your stories, and how do you keep organized.?

Glynnis Campbell Since I get most of my ideas in the most inconvenient places (the car, the shower, during boring conversations), I'm pretty old-school. I just jot stuff down on a paper or cell phone notepad. When I'm home, I create one Word doc where I store my plot ideas for a specific book, a second doc for my research notes, and a third for scraps--scenes or sentences I write and then edit out, but don't want to toss. All of that goes into the virtual folder for that specific book, along with photos and other research materials, and if I need the research notes for another book, I copy them into another folder. For my real-world research, I have bookshelves, but for each novel I write, I put the pertinent research books into a little cardboard box so they're easy to find, then return them to the shelves when the novel is finished.
