I've noticed that none of your Vorkosigan novels are available on Overdrive, except as audiobooks. Is that a publisher decision? I love this series and it would be great to have them available for our library patrons who prefer e-books.

I'd like to get my self-pubbed books on Overdrive, yes, but my current helpers are not set up for it, and I'm not up to doing it by myself. So it's a hung project at present.
The audio books are placed in Overdrive through and by Blackstone, good on 'em. And, I believe, HarperCollins have placed my fantasies from them.

I love your books; your turn of phrase is always a delight, and your character-driven sci-fi and fantasy, in all of their various sub-genre forms, is amazing. Since Goodreads won't accept stated compliments (it wants a question mark): So, how do you feel about cosplay? I'm planning a Cetagandan ghem-Lieutenant for CONvergence and Gaylaxicon this year. Your non-specific but evocative descriptions are a great boon!

Hi Lois, I bought Penric's Demon from Amazon - a kindle edition published by Spectrum and sold by Amazon. Worryingly someone has just posted this on my review: Marc Wilson says: This is a stolen book, published without the author's permission and very likely illegally scanned from an eARC (electronic Advanced Reading Copy).. Can you clarify, please. Is there a problem with this?

In one of Barbara Hambly’s fantasy series wizards/magic use had been outlawed/severely curtailed because the world was entering an Industrial Revolution and it's so easy for a wizard to wreck machinery for paid industrial sabotage or personal animus. Given how demons shed chaos (Otta/Atto in weaving room, sorcerers on boats), do you have any thoughts as to what may happen to sorcerers if/when the Wot5G has an IR?
