Did anyone else find the ending disappointing? What happened? How in the world are they going to get out of the country with that baby? How will they evade investigation? Unanswered in the book. Are we supposed to furnish our own ending? Unsatisfied!!!

Was her lousy mother and search for her father - much less that whole digression into Haiti - really important to the plot? So...an unnecessary first half and a disappointing ending - doesn't leave a whole lot left to love!(less)
