I feel like I'm the only one who hates chaol? He's been my least favorite character from the start. Loyal beyond being able to think for yourself, prejudice against all those different than himself, mean, stubborn, and the exact kind of person I dislike. And now because of him I have to wait another year for the ending of this series. Wonderful.

In the other books I hated Chaol, but after reading Tower of Dawn I learn more about him (and also the interesting new characters). The past that haunts him, the regret, guilt and anger for what had happened in his life. Give this book a chance, or in this case Chaol. Remember there always two sides to a story. I hope you agree.
