With the first book set in Russia and exploring popular Russian fairytales and creatures, will the second and third book expand more on Russian myth and legend or are you hoping to explore other myths and legends outside of Russia?

The second and third books will continue the story of Vasilisa and her family, while taking their cues from different Russian myths and folk tales.

I like to listen to music when I read and while reading the Winternight trilogy I was listening to a lot of Lana Del Ray (esp. Dark Paradise) and I just love how much it fits Vasya and Morozko's relationship. Do you listen to music when you brainstorm ideas or when you write?
