Blut_Binden asked Maria V. Snyder:

Hello! During your draft writing process, is there anyone or a group that you bounce ideas off of? For me, I can barely finish anything without a little feedback. Thank you! :^)

Maria V. Snyder Hello! I used to belong to a writing critique group and would share my chapters with them as I wrote, but as my deadlines got tighter, my group couldn't keep up. Then I entered a graduate writing program and had lots of feedback from my critique partners and mentors. When I graduated, I kept in touch with one of my partners and we exchanged critiques for a few years. Now, though I write my first draft and then get feedback from my husband, my agent, and a couple beta readers. I think I have enough experience to write a book, but still need feedback to make it better! And I bounce ideas off my agent for any new projects before I write them since he knows what the editors are looking for. :)
