Most days I don't need inspiration but twice as much time. I am still learning about marketing my own work in today's industry and I just recently published a novella.
But when I do need inspiration, I'm likely to watch movies that have something I'm looking for -- a character like the one I want to write, a situation that brings out the emotion I'm trying to write, and other goals along that line.
I also do the same with books, although sometimes I'm burnt out on words (since I play with them all day) so don't really feel like writing.
