Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

S.D. O'Donnell I had an idea for my first book, Deadly Memories, but eventually realized that I would not be able to fit the emotional arc I wanted into a single book. Not if I wanted to write a thriller -- and I did! So, I mapped out that arc and decided it would take four books to take the characters through the entire growth I had in mind and I'd just wrap each book in a new mystery/thriller.

Deadly Bayou, the book I'm working on now, comes from a recurring dream that character Jayne has in Deadly Memories.
