Manny Rayner I am afraid I must correct a few misconceptions here. Rather disappointingly, new ornithological research shows that eagles have also started to vote for Christmas. In addition, the discovery of dark energy suggests that the universe will continue to expand, so the world is not in fact getting smaller. It was however somewhat opportunistic of the US Postal Service to use this as an excuse for raising stamp prices, since few letters are sent to addresses outside the Local Group.
