Goodreads asked Kirsten M. Corby:

How do you get inspired to write?

Kirsten M. Corby I think I read Joyce Carol Oates once, who said something along the lines of "You don't get in the mood to write; writing creates the mood." I have found that to be true. You just have to sit down and start. Once you start, you get into it. The hardest thing is always beginning. The hardest hardest thing, is that you have to face that hardest thing anew every single day. Stephen Pressfield's Book THE WAR OF ART helped me a lot with this.
