How much time did you spend and what kind of process did you use, working on how much technology, buildings, roads etc, would be left for your characters to use and explore? Also, what level the tech would be at? How characters would view it all through their 'medieval' lense? And how to use it in such a way that it wouldn't ruin the fantasy 'vibe'? Hi Dana - hopefully honesty won't spoil your enjoyment of the books.
I spent no time and have no process. I just start typing. That's how I write. I put down whatever comes to me as my fingers move across the keyboard. Like dreaming, I guess. There's no engineering or judgement, just an instinct.

Hello Mr Lawrence i would like to ask you if possible i finished Prince of Thorns today and I'm just wondering if you intentionally made it short? I will be starting King of Thorns at some point which i believe if I'm not wrong an extra 76 pages was this intentionally please or just simply book one was short. Thank you

Hi, I'm a huge fan of your writing style and the Broken Empire trilogy is one of my all time favourite series. I was wondering if there is any possibility of a movie/TV series adaptation of it? Really enjoying The Girl and the Stars btw and definitely looking forward to any future works!
