Like you I enjoy visiting historic woodlands, and I find each forest in Britain or Ireland has its own character. Have you thought of writing medieval fantasy in these settings? You are doing all the right research.

Glynnis Campbell I'm currently working on a female Robin Hood-like story set in Ireland, and I've written several other woodland books. I haven't written fantasy, mostly because I find enough inspiration in the real world, though some of my characters believe in a touch of magic.
