This is not a ?, but I wanted to thank you for 2 things: 1) Your treatment of adoption/abandonment in "Duchess in Love". As an adult adoptee myself, I still struggle with the idea of "belonging". 2) The Paris museum recommendations! We loved the Jacquemart-Andre, and look forward to visiting the Camondo on our next trip. No need to respond. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate both.

(1) Since you spent a year in Paris and now you are in London, how has that altered (or enhanced) your writing? (2) Geographically, where is Lucca, (spelling?) your son? If he is in the States, how are you dealing with the separation? (3) Lastly, was it hard for Anna to leave here friends for the last year (or so,) of High School?

Poor Horatius Wilde!?! Given your statement that you aren’t sure you’ll ever go back to him & the Wilde universe, I’ll simply conclude he died in the swamp and someone else less able and willing will have to take over the estate. Thank you for your answer and best of luck in your writing endeavours. I know from a friend who’s a writer that it’s not an easy process.
