I got it straight away but I knew Freyre wouldn't get it till the last second possible. I think Amarantha almost showed her the answer in the trials. She showed her how awful and painful love can be as Freyre was facing those trials due to her love for Tamlin.

I so confidently told my friend that answer to the riddle was "poo" and was so embarrassed when she (who read the book before me) revealed the actual answer.

Honestly, I was able to figure it out after the first stanza, but I'm a romanticist. Furthermore, I think love was something that Feyre had been missing for most of her life, whether it was romantic or otherwise so it was more difficult for her to figure out the riddle.
