One is the Blythes are Quoted published in 2009 because it was seen as unpatriotic so not published in the 1940s. it contains short stories where the Blythes are mentioned in passing but occasionally appear. interspersed with vignettes involving the Blythes discussing poetry. In addtion Chronicles of Avonlea and Further Chronicles of Avonlea are sometimes included in the Anne canon but they actually consist of stories about other people with occasional references to Anne characters.
