Your book, The Angels Trilogy, has always been one of my favorites. What was your inspiration for it?

I wanted to create characters who had different values---what better way than an Amish boy, a believer with an honest and sincere belief system, and a girl with a more worldly outlook on life? I enjoyed working with these two. I also liked inserting a spiritual being, an Angel, for the Bible clearly speaks of them as messengers of God, and that people are sometimes visited by Angels. I very much enjoyed writing these books!

How do you stay inspired while writing? I want to be an author, but everytime I start a project, I get bored of it and stop writing. I just feel like the story took a horrible turn and it just drags on.. Also, when you're writing do you start from the beginning or do you start with one specific event and then build from there and figure out the details with how it starts and builds up to that point?
