Hello Miss. Lurlene McDaniel I want to start off by saying how much I love your work your books always bring me to tears because of how realistic they are. I am currently writing a novel and I love but my problem is I get easily distracted so my question is How do you stay focused when writing your novels?

Lurlene McDaniel Staying focused can be a problem. It happens to me too...especially in the middle of a long novel. But I find that if I take a few days off and take time to do other things, it helps me restart when I sit down again to work. Also helpful is to really know your characters. Ask them what they would do to kickstart the action again...crazy, I know, but sometimes their answers help you refocus. Best wishes on getting your story finished. Writing is hard work.
