so far i have been reading all the house of night books that you have written and my daughter has read all of them ahead of me including the new one that you just came out with when are you going to come out the next one called lost she really loves those books and has really gotten into them and i would like to keep up with them as well?

What is your best advice for a hopeful future author in regards to worrying over making sure a story is completely 100% original? I know it's nearly impossible to write an entire novel without SOMETHING of the plot having been done before, "hero's journey anyone?" but I seem to constantly block myself worrying about these things and end up with tons of half finished stories.
