No. I just thought of two scents that I love. I wanted him to smell earthy and old (cedar), and fresh and interesting (bergamot).

I associate cedar with an antique chest my mom inherited from her grandfather. We kept all our sheets and blankets in it, and my one of my favorite things was sheets fresh from the cedar chest.
