I am only on chapter one, but I am not sure I can finish this book. Yes- the young man is clearly a gifted child and is doing great things. But mom's perspective seems... off. She almost died when her child was born 3 weeks early (?? Why? ) yet they went home right after the birth and stopped to sign mortgage papers on their way? The descriptions so far seem so overly exaggerated and ridiculous. Munchhausens?

She threw a child with a disability under the bus so she could write this book. Lock her up and throw away the key.(less)
