Hi I have been a huge fan of yours but, I have always wondered how did you get the idea of The House of Night Series?

P.C. Cast In 2005 my agent asked me if I'd consider writing a series set at a vampyre finishing school. I loved the idea as a YA series because I was teaching high school. I made the society matriarchal and based much of the magick in the world on biology. Then I added lots of issues I'd observed from teaching for 15 years (I'm from a family of teachers). And the HoN was born!

With there be other series that features Zoey and the nerd herd past the otherworld series? I want more. I know there is 2 more books on the otherworld series. I just finished loved. But I need it to keep going.
