Halfway thru the book, I went back to your bio because I was certain that you had to have been raised in Russia, or at least spent a lot of time there. It made me feel like I could understand a little better how people can live under such tyranny and still love their country and be happy. Have you spent time in Russia, or did you get all that just by studying history books?

My first ever Audible book to listen to, and in English. I cringed at the thought, but due to confinement, I thought to give it a go. Brilliant music to my ears, goosebumps to my flesh, and a mesmorising transport into a better world. Pandemic permitting, I will one day enter a book store, hold a copy in my hands, sneak in a quick yet essential sniff, and this I know, with tears of happiness, walk out copy in hand?
